Get a glimpse at some of the most influential people in the world at the TIME 100 gala at Jazz at Lincoln Center in New York City.
Susana Martinez is NOT the first female governor of New Mexico. She is the first ELECTED female governor, but not the first ever female governor. That title belongs to Soledad Chavez Chacon, who was governor for a two-week time period during 1924 after Lt. Governor Baca died, and Governor Hinkle was at a political convention in Washington, DC. While only "acting" governor, Ms. Chavez Chacon was governor nonetheless, and deserves that spot in history.
Parabéns Ministro JOAQUIM BARBOSA, o mundo precisa de mais pessoas assim. Nós brasileiros estamos orgulhosos por sua conduta. SUCESSO! Dr. VALLIM Brasilia-DF.
@bluegraph She explained that she thought it more appropriate to show solidarity with the people of Boston than to glam up for the occasion.
It amazes all , rather envious gazing these most influential, but studying their personal records , they are all matchless.. we only see their outward appearance.
Is riches the scale of being Influential, no it is not. It takes much more than that just look around and you will see.

It never ceases to amaze me how much the rich and powerful get together to pat themselves on the back.
Didn't Mia Farrow get the memo that it's a formal event? Kind of insulting (and ironic) to dress like a schlub, no?
