With an armful of books, he’d sit on the roof of his fraternity house, reading up on a list topics he was unfamiliar with. “I’d be like, alright, I don’t know anything about sales,” said Houston in a chat with Dorm Room Fund. So I would search for sales on Amazon, get the three top-rated books and just go at it.” That’s how he learned about subjects including marketing, finance, and product engineering.
