Make Yesterday’s Mails Today’s To-do
For shoe mogul Tony Hsieh, “Inbox Zero” is a fool’s errand. “It’s a never-ending treadmill, there’s never a sense of completion,” he writes in a LinkedIn blog post. “As soon as I start sending emails, replies start coming back.” Instead, he turns yesterday’s mail into today’s to-do list. “The great thing about this is when you get up in the morning, you know exactly how many emails you have to get through,” he says. “There is actually a sense of completion when you’re done, which is amazing.”
