German Chancellor Angela Merkel is not pleased by the allegations that the NSA listened in on her phone calls and those of other world leaders. Merkel called for trust between allies and partners and said that spying among friends was unacceptable. President Obama has assured her that the U.S. isn’t monitoring her calls.
