The second in command at the Federal Reserve may soon be the first. President Obama is expected to announce that Janet Yellen is his pick to head the Fed. If she is confirmed by the Senate, it will mean that two women — Yellen and IMF chief Christine Lagarde — hold two of the most powerful positions in economic policy in the world.
