Mary Cheney and her wife Heather Poe took to Facebook to criticize Liz Cheney and the remarks she made against same-sex marriage. A Republican candidate for Senate in Wyoming, Liz Cheney was recently accused of being dubious on the issue by a conservative super PAC. After Liz Cheney said that she did indeed oppose gay marriage on “Fox News Sunday”, Poe posted “when Mary and I got married in 2012 – [Liz] didn’t hesitate to tell us how happy she was for us.” Mary added, “Liz – this isn’t just an issue on which we disagree – you’re just wrong – and on the wrong side of history.”
